HANDHOLDING HIATUS AND AUTOBIOGRAPHY

It is never your best thinking that makes big money...it's the sitting...Jesse Livermore

The Trending123.com team will be in Kansas City this week from Wednesday through Friday. There will be no moderators in the Swing Trading Room or the Futures Trading Room, since both John and Naturus will be in Kansas City.

Everything possible will be done to monitor the markets and alerts will be sent out to the stock and options traders if anything changes.

While we are gone, we will miss you. Our wish for you is that you do no panic out of any position, do not chase any position, wait for alerts or new setups, be kind and respectful to each other, and wait for us to come back with some awesome new features to make your trading and investing experience with us more seamless and profitable.

We will miss you, but we are also watching and listening to you whenever we can.

If you are compelled to be in the trading room and are not daytrading, please use the time to get to know each other a little better, to support each other and unify as a group. Make an effort to think about where you are in your trading and what you are doing to improve it. The autobiography below is a good place to start.

Here is an Autobiography in Five Chapters of a trader who finally begins to "get" it after doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

(1) I walk, down the street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I fall in.

I am lost... I am hopeless.

It isn’t my fault.

It takes forever to find a way out.

(2) I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I pretend I don’t see it.

I fall in again.

I can’t believe I am in the same place.

But, it isn’t my fault.

It still takes a long time to get out.

(3) I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I see it is there.

I still fall in... it’s a habit.

My eyes are open

I know where I am.

It is my fault.

I get out immediately.

(4) I walk down the same street.

There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.

I walk around it.

(5) I walk down another street...Portia Nelson
