These products comprise communications systems and products, military data link systems and products, navigation systems and products, subsystems for the flight deck that combine flight operations with navigation and guidance functions, cockpit display systems, integrated computer systems for future combat systems, and simulation and training systems. The Commercial Systems segment supplies air transport aviation electronics systems and products, as well as business and regional aviation electronics systems and products to the manufacturers of commercial air transport, regional and business aircraft, commercial airlines, regional airlines, fractional jet operators, and business jet operators. These systems and products consist of flight deck electronic systems and products, such as communications, navigation, surveillance, displays and automatic flight control, and flight management systems, as well as in-flight entertainment, cabin electronics, and information management systems. The company also provides equipment repair and overhaul, service parts, field service engineering, training, technical information services, and aftermarket used equipment. Rockwell Collins was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
