Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NGS) provides equipment and services to the natural gas and oil industry in the United States. The company manufactures, fabricates, sells, and leases natural gas compressors for use in the oil and gas wells, gas transportation lines, and processing plants. It also manufactures and sells flare tips and ignition systems for oil and gas plant, and production facilities. In addition, NGS provides maintenance services for the compressors. As of December 31, 2004, the company had 549 natural gas compressors under lease to third parties. NGS was founded by Wallace C. Sparkman and Wallace O. Sellers in 1998. The company is based in Midland, Texas.
