As of June 30, 2005, the company operated 498 routes, of which 399 were domestic, 73 were international, and 26 were Hong Kong routes. It operated a fleet of 242 aircraft comprising 136 Boeing aircraft and 56 Airbus aircraft with an average of 7,929 scheduled flights per week serving 134 cities, as of the above date. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Guangzhou, the People's Republic of China. China Southern Airlines Company Limited is a subsidiary of China Southern Air Holding Company.
