Its products include air management systems, such as air processing units, compressors, electronically controlled air dryers, air system protectors, and de-oiling catalysts; actuators and foundation brakes comprising air disc brakes, brake pad wear indicators, brake chambers, double diaphragm spring brakes, and tristop cylinders; and brake and stability control systems, including adaptive cruise controls, anti-lock braking systems/anti-spin regulation systems, electronic braking systems, electronic stability controls, valves, and vacuum pumps. The company also provides diagnostic systems, such as ODR-Tracker and WABCO Expert Diagnostics systems; driveline controls, which comprise integrated pedal units, clutch controls, retarder controls, and transmission automation systems; suspension control systems, including air springs, air suspension valves, cabin air leveling modules, shock absorbers, electronic leveling modules, electronic shock absorber controls, electronically controlled air suspension systems, lift axle control valves, and rotary slide valves; and vehicle electronic systems, such as automatic temperature controls, central vehicle controllers, integrated tire pressure monitoring systems, modular door controls, SmartBoards to monitor a range of trailer functions and conditions, and trailer central electronics. WABCO Holdings sells its products to truck and bus original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), trailer OEMs, aftermarket distributors of replacement parts and services, and automotive OEMs worldwide. The company was founded in 1869 as Westinghouse Air Brake Company and subsequently changed its name to WABCO Holdings, Inc. WABCO Holdings is based in Piscataway, New Jersey.
