The company's obstetrics products include fetal monitoring accessories, vacuum-assisted delivery systems, and other obstetrical tools. Its neonatal intensive care products include the DISPOSA-HOOD, an infant respiratory hood; DELTRAN PLUS, a blood pressure monitoring system; and umbilical vessel catheters. The company's other specialty products include a disposable peritoneal dialysis set, a silicone oral protection device used to prevent palatal soft tissue injury by orotracheal tubes, and a lumbar sampling kit for obtaining cerebral spinal fluid samples. UMP's gynecology/urology/and electro surgery products consists of the LETZ System that is used to excise cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and other lower genital tract lesions related to human papilloma virus infections; FINESSE electrosurgical system and specialized electrodes; EPITOME, an electrosurgical scalpel; LIBERTY System to treat urinary incontinence in women; PATHFINDER PLUS, an endoscopic irrigation device; ENDOCURETTE for uterine endometrial tissue sampling; and LUMIN for manipulation of the uterus in gynecological laparoscopic procedures. Its blood pressure monitoring line comprises DELTRAN disposable pressure transducer; and pressure monitoring accessories, components, and other molded parts. The company sells its products through direct sales representatives and independent manufacturers' representatives in the United States, as well as through specialty distributors, other medical device companies, and independent medical products distributors internationally. UMP was formed in 1978 and is headquartered in Midvale, Utah.
