Triumph Group, Inc., through its subsidiaries, offers various products and services to the aerospace industry worldwide. Its Aerospace Systems segment designs and engineers hydraulic, mechanical, and electromechanical controls, such as high-lift actuation systems, main engine gearbox assemblies, and mechanical cables. This segment also provides stretch forming, die forming, milling, bonding, machining, welding, and assembly, and fabrication on aircraft wings, fuselages, and various structural components, as well as manufactures metallic and composite bonded honeycomb assemblies for floor panels, fuselage, wings, and flight control surface parts. The company's Aftermarket Services segment provides maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to both commercial and military markets on components and accessories manufactured by third parties. It provides these services on auxiliary power units, constant-speed drives, cabin compressors, starters and generators, and pneumatic drive units. This segment repairs and overhauls thrust reversers, nacelle components, and other aerostructures. In addition, it performs repair and overhaul services, as well as supplies spare parts for various types of cockpit instruments and gauges for commercial airlines. As of June 30, 2005, the Aerospace Systems segment consisted of 25 operating locations and the Aftermarket Services segment consisted of 15 operating locations. Triumph Group serves commercial and regional airlines and air cargo carriers, as well as original equipment manufacturers of commercial, regional, business, and military aircraft and components. The company was formed in 1993 and is headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
