Integrys Energy Group also engages in natural gas distribution operations in Michigan and Minnesota. In addition, the company offers retail and wholesale products, primarily natural gas and electric power, in nonregulated energy markets. As of December 31, 2006, it served approximately 480,989 regulated electric customers and 684,148 regulated natural gas customers. The company was founded in 1883. It was formerly known as WPS Resources Corporation and changed its name to Integrys Energy Group in February 2007. The company is based in Chicago, Illinois.
