The company provides informedRx, a suite of pharmacy benefit management services; RxCLAIM, an online transaction processing system to provide online adjudication of third-party prescription drug claims at the point of service, such as claims management and review, as well as payment and billing support; RxTRACK, a data warehouse and analysis system to facilitate online analytical processing; RxMAX, a rebate management system to assist health plans in managing relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers through contract management, record keeping, calculating market share, and creating billing details and summaries; RxSERVER for the collection, control, and sharing of prescription information between pharmacies; and RxPORTAL, an Internet solution for pharmacy benefit management. It also offers HBS Retail Pharmacy Management System for retail pharmacy environments; and RxEXPRESS, a pharmacy practice management application that provides information processing and workflow solutions, as well as offers pharmacy services, such as patient refill orders, patient compliance and patient profile applications, electronic prescribing and refill authorizations, pharmacy Web site hosting and interfaces and complete mail service, out-patient pharmacy management inventory control, and pricing management. The company was founded in 1993. It was formerly known as Systems Xcellence, Inc. and changed its name to SXC Health Solutions Corp. in June 2007. SXC Health Solutions is headquartered in Lisle, Illinois.
