SIFCO operates through three segments: Turbine Component Services and Repair, Aerospace Component Manufacturing, and Applied Surface Concepts. The Turbine Component Services and Repair segment principally consists of the repair and remanufacture of aerospace and industrial turbine engine components. This segment also performs machining and applies high temperature-resistant coatings to new turbine engine components. The Aerospace Component Manufacturing segment manufactures forged parts in various steel alloys utilizing various processes for application in the aerospace and other industrial markets. This segment's forged products include OEM and aftermarket components for aircraft and land-based turbine engines; structural airframe components; aircraft landing gear components, wheels, and brakes; critical rotating components for helicopters; and commercial/industrial products. It also provides heat-treatment and some machining of forged parts. The Applied Surface Concepts segment provides specialized electrochemical technologies, including brush plating, anodizing, and electropolishing systems, which are used to apply metal coatings and finishes to a selective area of a component. The company has operations in the United States, Ireland, the United Kingdom, and France. SIFCO was incorporated in 1916 and is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio.
