The company has strategic partnership with Edwards Lifesciences Corporation. Sangamo BioSciences has a research collaboration agreement with Pfizer, Inc. to develop cell lines for enhanced protein production. Sangamo Biosciences was founded in 1995 by Edward Lanphier.
