It owns and operates approximately 500 mile fiber optic telecommunications network and data center facilities, and provides Ethernet services, as well as engages in tower site construction, management, and rental services. The company also provides homeowners with service contracts on their home appliances, and heating and air conditioning units. SCANA Corporation was founded in 1924 and is headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina.
