In addition, Retalix offers project management, implementation, application training, and technical services, as well as development services, ongoing support, and product maintenance services. The company offers its software solutions to supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, fuel stations, and independent grocers through direct sales, distributors, and dealers. As of April 1, 2005, it installed its products in approximately 33,000 stores in 50 countries worldwide. The company was formed in 1982. It was formerly known as Point of Sale, Ltd. and changed its name to Retalix, Ltd. in 2000. Retalix is headquartered in Raanana, Israel.
