Rudolph Technologies' products are used in various applications, including diffusion, etch, lithography, CVD, PVD, CMP, and macro-defect detection and classification. It sells products primarily to logic, memory, and application-specific integrated circuit device manufacturers worldwide. The company was founded in 1940 by Otto Curt Rudolph as Rudolph Research. It changed its name to Rudolph Technologies, Inc. in 1996. Rudolph Technologies is headquartered in Flanders, New Jersey.
