MOCON also offers headspace analyzers, which analyzes the amount of oxygen and carbon dioxide present in the headspace of flexible and rigid packages; sample preparation products; leak detection products, which detect leaks in sterile medical trays, pouches, blister packs, and a range of other packages, as well as provides gas chromatography analyzer products and gas analyzer products. The company was founded as Modern Controls, Inc. in 1966 and changed its name to MOCON, Inc. in 1999. MOCON is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
