The company primarily operates in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Japan. It markets its products to original equipment manufacturers through direct sales force, independent component and commercial distributors, channel customers, and manufacturer's representatives. LSI Logic was incorporated in 1980 and is headquartered in Milpitas, California.
