The company sells its gold to banks, bullion dealers, and refiners. Kinross was founded in 1972. It was formed as a result of the amalgamation of Plexus Resources Corporation, 1021105 Ontario Corp, and CMP Resources, Ltd. The company has its principal executive offices in Toronto, Canada.
