The index measures the performance of those companies in the large-capitalization sector, defined as those companies that form the largest 70% of the market capitalization of the US equity market, that Morningstar determines to have value characteristics based on value factors such as price to projected earnings, price to book, price to sales, price to cash flow and dividend yield.
