ISTA Pharmaceuticals has collaborations with Allergan, Inc.; Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; Senju Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.; and Eastern Virginia Medical School. The company was founded in 1992 as Advanced Corneal Systems, Inc. and changed its name to ISTA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2000. ISTA Pharmaceuticals is headquartered in Irvine, California.
