The company's printer and label media products include a line of bar code printers; and pressure-sensitive bar code labels and thermal transfer ribbons, as well as specialized labels. Its RFID products consist of RFID tags, readers, software, and related equipment. Further, the company provides customer support, professional, and installation services. It serves manufacturing, warehousing, direct store delivery, retail, consumer packaged goods, field service, government, and transportation and logistics markets. The company was founded in 1997. It was formerly known as UNOVA, Inc. and changed its name to Intermec, Inc. in 2006. Intermec is headquartered in Everett, Washington.
