The index measures the performance of the pharmaceuticals sector of the U.S. equity market. It includes pharmaceutical companies such as manufacturers of prescription or over-the-counter drugs or vaccines, but excludes producers of vitamins. The fund uses a representative sampling strategy to try to track the index. It is nondiversified.
