It offers its fragrance products principally to manufacturers of perfumes, cosmetics, toiletries, hair care products, deodorants, soaps, detergents, and hair care products; and flavor products primarily to manufacturers of prepared foods, beverages, dairy foods, pharmaceuticals, and confectionery products, as well as the food service industry. The company sells its products through its own sales force in the United States, and through agents and distributors internationally. International Flavors & Fragrances was incorporated 1909 and is headquartered in New York City.
