International Assets Holding Corporation (IAHC), through its subsidiaries, offers various financial services focused on international securities and commodities markets. The company operates in four divisions: International Equities Market-Making (IEMM), International Debt Capital Markets (IDCM), Foreign Exchange/Commodities Trading (FECT), and Asset Management. The IEMM division engages in wholesale market-making for select foreign securities, including unlisted American depositary receipts and foreign ordinary shares. It provides execution and liquidity to the United States broker-dealers, regional broker-dealers, and institutional investors. The IDCM division trades and invests in various international debt instruments, including both investment grade and higher yielding emerging market bonds. It focuses on emerging market sovereign, corporate, and bank bonds, as well as arranges international debt transactions. The FECT division trades in select illiquid currencies of developing countries. It also executes trades based on the foreign currency flows inherent in the company's existing international securities activities. This division primarily acts as a principal in buying and selling foreign currencies on a spot basis. In addition, it provides a range of trading and hedging services to producers, consumers, recyclers, and investors in precious metals and other base metals, as well as purchases and sells the metals on a spot and forward basis. The Asset Management division operates as an investment advisor and as a fund manager. IAHC provides clients with option products, including combinations of buying and selling puts and calls. The company offers its services to wholesale customers, including investment banks, commercial banks, brokers, institutional investors, corporations, charities, and governmental organizations worldwide. IAHC was formed in 1987 and based in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
