The company, through its another subsidiary, Strategic Energy LLC, offers electricity supply services for commercial, institutional, and government customers in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Great Plains Energy is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.
