As of January 1, 2005, Glamis Gold had proven and probable reserves of 6.3 million ounces of gold and 38.5 million ounces of silver. The company was incorporated as Renniks Resources, Ltd. in 1972. It changed its name to Glamis Gold, Ltd. in 1977. Glamis Gold is based in Reno, Nevada.
