The company also offers an array of logistics services, including exclusive-use vehicles, dedicated fleets, warehousing, customs brokerage, and shipment consolidation and handling. Forward Air operates through a network of 80 terminals located on or near airports in the United States and Canada, including a central sorting facility in Columbus, Ohio, and 8 regional hubs. It also operates regional hubs in Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Newburgh, Orlando, and San Francisco. The company serves air freight forwarders, integrated air cargo carriers, and passenger and cargo airlines. Forward Air was founded by Scott M. Niswonger in 1981 and is headquartered in Greeneville, Tennessee.
