BioPolymer manufactures and sells microcrystalline cellulose, carrageenan, and alginates, products that add texture, structure, and physical stability to beverage, dairy, meat, and bakery products and/or that act as binders and disintegrants for tablets and capsules. Lithium business includes sale of mined lithium, which is used in specialty products, including pharmaceuticals, specialty polymers, and energy storage devices. Its Industrial Chemicals segment manufactures inorganic materials, including soda ash, hydrogen peroxide, specialty peroxygens, and phosphorus chemicals. FMC Corporation was founded in 1884 and is headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
