As of August 8, 2005, the company's portfolio consisted of 188 properties, including 128 supermarket-anchored shopping centers, 8 drug store-anchored shopping centers, 43 retail-anchored shopping centers, 6 development parcels, and 3 commercial properties, as well as a noncontrolling interest in 1 unconsolidated joint venture. As a REIT, the company would not be subject to federal tax to the extent that it distributes at least 90% of its taxable income to its shareholders. The company was organized in 1992 and is based in North Miami Beach, Florida.
