The bank accepts business and personal checking accounts, NOW accounts, savings accounts, demand deposits, money market accounts, certificates of deposits, and time deposits. It also offers business and construction loans; commercial loans for working capital, equipment purchases, real estate, lines of credit, and government contract financing; lease financing for business equipment; residential mortgage and SBA loans; home equity lines; consumer installment loans, including automobile and personal loans, and personal lines of credit; and credit card services. In addition, the bank provides cash management services, such as PC banking, sweep accounts, lock box, account reconciliation, credit card depository, title insurance, safety deposit boxes, automated clearing house origination, and ATM services. Its investment portfolio comprises U.S. Government agency securities, mortgage-backed securities, Federal Reserve and Federal Home Loan Bank stock, and other equity investments. As of September 30, 2005, the bank had five offices serving Montgomery County and three offices in the District of Columbia. The company was organized in 1997 and is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland.
