The company also inspects, monitors, and performs corrective measures at its nonoperating disposal facilities. AEC provides services to commercial and government entities, such as nuclear power plants, medical and academic institutions, steel mills, refineries, and chemical production facilities. American Ecology Corporation was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
