Ditech Communications Corporation engages in the design, development, and marketing of telecommunications equipment for use in canceling echo and enhancing voice quality in voice calls over wireline, wireless, satellite and IP telecommunications networks. Ditech's voice processing products are used by mobile and wire-line operators for circuit and packet based networks. Its products include voice enhancement and echo canceller solutions. The company offers Voice Quality Assurance (VQA), a solution for voice enhancement that includes both noise reduction and echo cancellation to provide improved sound quality on calls made over wireless networks. Ditech markets its products in the United States through a direct sales force and, to a lesser extent, through distributors. Internationally, it markets the products through a direct sales force, value-added resellers, system integrators, and distributors. Ditech Corporation was reincorporated in Delaware in 1999 and changed its name to Ditech Communications Corporation. The company is headquartered in Mountain View, California. Ditech acquired Jasomi Networks, Inc. in June 2005.
