In addition, it offers a range of financing alternatives, asset management services, and other customer financial services for its business and consumer customers in the United States. The company's customers include large corporate, government, healthcare, and education accounts, as well as small-to-medium businesses and individual customers. Dell markets and sells its products and services directly to its customers. The company was founded by Michael S. Dell in 1984 under the name Dell Computer Corporation. Later, it changed its name to Dell, Inc. in 2003. Dell is headquartered in Round Rock, Texas.
