In addition, Ducommun provides illuminated switches, switch assemblies, and keyboard panels for use in military aircraft, helicopter, commercial aircraft, and spacecraft programs; microwave switches, filters, and other components for use in commercial and military aircraft, and satellites; and actuators, stepper motors, fractional horsepower motors, and resolvers for space applications. Its mechanical and electromechanical assemblies include radar enclosures, gyroscopes and indicators, aircraft avionics racks, and shipboard communications and control enclosures. The company was founded in 1849 and is based in Carson, California.
