It operates in two segments, Systems, and Service and System Integration. The Systems segment designs, manufactures, sells, and services cluster computer systems and embedded computer systems to the aerospace and defense market for an array of defense applications, including radar, sonar, and surveillance signal processing, as well as to scientific/technical computing market. This segment also offers legacy classic systems and proprietary systems, as well as related parts and services. The Service and System Integration segment provides integration solutions, including third-party hardware and software with consulting services; and specialized programming and engineering services to supply customers with customized legacy integration, virtual private networks, and Internet security solutions. It also provides installation, integration, logistical assistance, and other services. In addition, this segment offers Internet security consulting and implementation services for enterprise intrusion prevention and protection. CSP serves customers in the education, telecommunications, health services, distribution, financial, manufacturing, and entertainment industries. The company markets its products through its direct sales force, system integrators, distributors, and resellers worldwide. CSP was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts.
