The bank accepts noninterest and interest-bearing demand deposits, savings deposits, and time deposits. It also offers commercial, financial, and agricultural loans; real estate construction and land development loans; real estate mortgage loans; installment loans; and other loans. The bank provides its services to individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses. Its investment portfolio comprises U.S. Government and agency obligations, states and political subdivisions, and mortgage-backed securities. As of November 4, 2005, the bank had 10 full service branches, including 2 in Pickens County, 2 in Cherokee County, 3 in Bartow County, 2 in Forsyth County, and 1 in Fulton County; and 3 commercial lending centers, including 1 each in Cherokee County at Riverstone in Canton, Cobb County at Marietta, and Walton County at Loganville. Crescent Banking Company was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Jasper, Georgia.
