The Mobile Data Communications segment offers satellite-based mobile tracking and messaging services, and mobile satellite transceivers primarily for defense applications, including logistics, support, and battlefield command and control, as well as provides turnkey employee mobility solutions to commercial enterprises. The RF Microwave Amplifiers segment designs, develops, manufactures, and markets broadband amplifiers in the microwave and radio frequency spectrums for defense, medical and health, satellite communications, and instrumentation and testing. The company markets its products through its marketing and engineering personnel, independent representatives, and value-added resellers. Comtech was founded in 1967 and is based in Melville, New York.
