This segment also offers diesel cold-start technology and supplies ignition technology for gasoline vehicles. It sells its products to original equipment manufacturers of commercial trucks, buses, and agricultural and off-highway vehicles primarily in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. The company's products are sold worldwide primarily to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of light vehicles, such as passenger cars, sport-utility vehicles, vans, and light trucks. They are also sold to OEMs of commercial trucks, buses, and agricultural and off-highway vehicles. BorgWarner operates manufacturing facilities serving customers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, as well as serves as an original equipment supplier to major automotive OEMs in the world. BorgWarner was incorporated in 1987 and is headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
