The company sells its products to independent gift shops, specialty chains, department stores, food and drug outlets, mass retailers, hotels, restaurants, and independent foodservice distributors. It operates in the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as in Mexico, Australia, and the Far East. The company was formed in 1933 and is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut.
