It also offers other complementary building materials, including siding, windows, specialty lumber products, and waterproofing systems for residential and nonresidential building exteriors. The company's customers include contractors, home builders, building owners, and other resellers in Southeast, Northeast, Central Plains, Midwest, Southwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, as well as in Eastern Canada. As of December 1, 2005, it had 138 branches and 11 other facilities located in 29 states and Canadian provinces of Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. Beacon Roofing was founded in 1928 and is headquartered in Peabody, Massachusetts.
