In addition, AmeriServ Financial, through its subsidiary, AmeriServ Associates, Inc., operates as an investment advisory firm that administers investment portfolios, offers operational support systems, and provides asset and liability management services to small and mid-sized financial institutions. The company invests primarily in the U.S. treasury, the U.S. agency, mortgage-backed securities, and equity investment in Federal Home Loan Bank and Federal Reserve Bank Stocks.
