The Albany Door Systems segment produces and sells doors to industrial and commercial enterprises. Its products comprise commercial roll-up doors, folding doors, bifold doors, sectional overhead doors, automatic doors, and rolling doors for environments that require exterior doors or interior doors. The Applied Technologies segment manufactures various products, including wet and dry filtration media and Primaloft patented synthetic down. Its products are primarily used in the home furnishings and outerwear markets. The company primarily operates in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, France, Germany, Britain, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Sweden, and the United States. Albany was founded as Albany Felt Company in 1895 and changed its name to Albany International Corp. in 1987. The company is headquartered in Albany, New York.
