The day will be kicked off with a presentation by Kathryn Griffiths, Senior Product Manager at Recognia (provider of the Stock Scan and Alert tools available through Trending123). Ms. Griffiths will provide the inside scoop on Recognia's automated chart pattern recognition and how it makes it easier for investors and traders to spot opportunities and add discipline to their analysis. Ms. Griffiths will also share insight derived from Recognia's deep historical database of identified chart patterns, including how often different types of patterns occur and how well they perform.

Polly Dampier (Naturus) holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ryerson University in Toronto. She started learning futures trading in 1992 while she was a business consultant to food companies in Canada and international trading companies in China. After 2000 she focused on trading the e-mini, and developed her own trading method, the NatLine system, which combines elements of pattern recognition, Fibonacci calculations, Elliott wave, Taylors LSS method, the Murray Math Line method and others trading method. The NatLine system is complex, but provides remarkably accurate calls on intra-day reversals and continuances in the S&P e-mini market.

Jeffery Kern, PH.D As a professor, a scientist, and a practicing clinical psychologist specializing in the prediction of human behavior, I hope to provide an interesting and useful analysis of gold stock movements. Remember that the system is not suited to predicting the movement of any one particular gold stock. My philosophical view on gold is that eventually the price will rise and that all fiat (non- gold based) monetary systems have eventually failed. However, I rely on my system to time such occurrences and to preserve and increase my family's assets via gold and gold stock purchases. My weekly (or more frequent) Updates will also provide you with some insights into my emotional reactions (i.e., fear and greed, doubt and overconfidence) that impede my own ability to follow the system. I put almost all of my risk capital into gold stocks long or short because I try not to "invest" in anything that I cannot predict with a reasonable degree of accuracy. William H. Baker Jr. (capital58 for those who know him) has owned a operated several successful businesses throughout the New York area for over 25 years of his life. These businesses included a limousine company, which was a supplier of services to major business corporations such as Trump Casinos. He built a start-up travel agency to over a one billion-dollar company within one year. He owned a operated a truck and heavy equipment repair facility where he designed a built trucks for such companies here in NY as cablevision and Bell Atlantic. He also owned and operated a construction company doing general contracting.
Throughout all of these experiences in his lifetime he has learned a great deal about human behavior discipline and accuracy making those key points in his success.
He was first introduced to the markets in 1982 and began studying its behavior. Over a 14-year period he has successfully traded equities, futures and options. Over the last 5 years he has been trading side by side with owner, John Lansing, of trending123. He has become well versed in Elliot Wave principle, technical chart analysis and partnered with another member of trending 123 (VN) to teach option classes.
With regard to all his past experiences in business affairs and the trending123 family, Owner, John Lansing, has asked William to join the trending123 team to be leader, teacher and, moderator of the options forum and website.
