Pre-Market Update - AMD, GRMN, PRU, & TALX
Advance Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD)- Daily Chart
AMD is now forming a bullish pennant and is just coiling and waiting to break out. The bottom was put in at $38.32 and has been going back up ever since then. Furthermore, AMD has been in a strong bullish trend going all the way back to November. I wish I had suggested it as a buy a long time ago. The technicals are bullish. The stock has a tendency to move really fast so it could be a big stick up. However, it is parabolic and it is just correcting sideways for right now.
Garmin Ltd. (GRMN) - Daily Chart
The daily chart of GRMN illustrates that has it is in a large ascending triangle pattern. If you are already long, you need to know that $61.00 is the up trend line. Should $61.00 hold you can then buy more. The break out is above $70.00. Once that is taken out, the price target will be adjusted. The short interest is high, as it is in so many stocks. All indicators are bullish and the stochastics are bull flagging. The chart is bullish. Again, wait for the alert.
Prudential Financial Inc. (PRU) - Daily chart
The daily chart shows that PRU is in a large ascending triangle pattern. PRU has been consolidating in a slim jim pattern at the top of the triangle in the range of $73.00 -- $75.00. Indicators and oscillators are now bullish. Today PRU is up 0.65% at $77.05. I like the strength in the bank and brokerage sector.
Talx Corp. (TALX) - Daily chart
The daily chart of TALX illustrates that it is in an ascending triangle pattern. It has recently finished a wave 3 to 4 correction when it place the lows at $27.82. Indicators and oscillators are entering a bullish trend reversal. This is another stock with all time high short interest.
