Standard Deviation is the statistical measure of market volatility.
Standard deviation rises as prices become more volatile. As price
action calms, standard deviation goes down.
The Correlation indicator calculates the frequency of price movement in the same
direction and in opposite directions for 2 price series during the specified number
of bars. This frequency is indexed as a value between 1 and -1.A positive value
indicates that the series tend to move in the same direction. A negative value
indicates a tendency to move in opposite directions. A value of near 0 indicates
there is no correlation between the series.
